Carrollton-Farmers Branch - method of Board member selection

School Board Members will be elected using a cumulative voting system. In a cumulative voting system, voters can cast as many votes as there are seats up for election, including multiple votes for the same candidate. For example, if four candidates were running for three seats, then each voter would have three votes to cast. The voter could cast all three votes for one candidate, cast two votes for one candidate and the third vote for another candidate, or cast all three votes for three different candidates. The cumulative voting system is very flexible. You can use your votes in any combination of three or fewer candidates. The three candidates with the most votes win the election.

COPPELL SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES

Coppell School Board - Method of board member selection The Coppell ISD Board of Trustees is composed of seven members who are elected by district to three-year terms in specifically numbered seats. Candidates file to run for a specific seat, but all voters in the school district are eligible to vote for every seat up for election. Places scheduled for the general election in May of 2017 will be posted as available.
