USCIS Volunteer Schedule

The Irving League has become the main provider of volunteers at the United States Immigration and Citizenship Services (USCIS) building located in Irving. At the completion of the ceremony, league volunteers assist by providing the new citizens with either:

1) A voter registration form (green card) to be completed at the center, signed by an attending deputy registrar, and a receipt verifying their registration
2) A voter registration form (white card) and a quick overview of the information needed for completing and mailing the form to the County of residence of the new citizen.

If you are willing to donate 1 to 1 1/2 hours of your time, click on the link below to view the monthly schedule. The schedule will open in a new page. Under the Volunteer heading, pick a currently blank column for the date and time that fits your schedule. Then, click on the link below to email your selected date/time to the webmaster for inclusion on the schedule. To help ensure that all new citizens receive the information and the opportunity to register, each time slot has openings for four volunteers.

NOTE: Volunteers should plan to arrive at the USCIS facility 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for the morning ceremony and 60 minutes ahead of time for the afternoon ceremony.

The USCIS center is located at 6500 Campus Circle Drive East, Irving, Tx 75063.

The easiest route is to go to the Beltline and 114 intersection. Then:

When approaching the intersection from the south, turn right to enter Hwy 114. Stay to the right for a short distance and take the next exit, President George Bush Turnpike. After cresting the hill, take the immediate next right onto Longhorn Drive. Go approximately 100 yards before making a left turn into the large USCIS parking lot. There is a monument type USCIS sign at the entrance to the parking lot.

When approaching the intersection from the north, cross over 114 and turn left to enter Hwy 114. Stay to the right for a short distance and take the next exit, President George Bush Turnpike. After cresting the hill, take the immediate next right onto Longhorn Drive. Go approximately 100 yards before making a left turn into the large USCIS parking lot. There is a monument type USCIS sign at the entrance to the parking lot.

After parking, enter the building through the front doors. You will have to pass through security to gain entrance to the large assembly room were the ceremony takes place. Tell the security guards you are there to assist with providing voter registration forms and information for completing to the new citizens.
