Please join us for the League of Women Voters of Irving’s first program of 2023!
Dr. Gabriel Bach, Professor Emeritus at Dallas College, and Mr. Bill Holston,
Executive Director of the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas, will share their
personal experiences on immigration. Dr. Bach will discuss certain topics, using his
book, Missionary Journeys, to share the experiences of his missionary parents in
China as well as his own migration experience. Mr. Holston will share his
professional experiences assisting immigrants as a civil rights attorney as well as
those from his work with the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas. The meeting
will be a hybrid meeting open to the public and online.
